Action Points for the Hargrave Neighbourhood  Plan Working Group

2nd June 2021

  Attendees:
Colin Painter (Chair)
Ian Poole (Places4People)
David Taylor
Peter Reddick
Simon Pratt-Adams

ACTIONS:
• Ian to advise timing and deadline for when he requires updates to further input to the revised plan document.

• Ian to provide as soon as possible a revised project plan

• The work by AECOM on the site assessments is progressing. (Subsequent to meeting Ian has confirmed a draft report should be available by 11th June)

• For sites to be included it requires the landowners consent. Colin and David to contact the brown field site owners, requesting written consent by the end of June.

• It was agreed the Neighbourhood Plan should include appropriate wording to indicate any development on land successfully selected would require a contribution from the land owner to village infrastructure development.

• A discussion was held as to whether any presentation to the Village regarding the options for redeveloping the Hall should be linked to site development. The opinion was the Village Hall project should progress independently. Colin to arrange a Village hall working group meeting.

• In terms of Site Assessment it was felt the sequence of events should be:
- Site assessment
- Site master planning
- Proposed site plan.

• In view of the above it was felt presentations should be made to the Village to cover:
- Process and Site assessment
- Site Master planning
- Proposal
- Plan consultation

As soon as Covid-19 lockdown is lifted the Working Group should look to organise a Village presentation.

• Next meeting to be arranged once AECOM report is issued
