Once again the weather was kind to us on the evening of 16th July when
many villagers came together for our annual BBQ.
We are grateful
to Kay and Julian Wilkinson for supplying the meat from 'Tastes of
Suffolk' and leading a team of chefs to cook it on the BBQs. The
beefburgers, sausages and pulled pork were accompanied by a selection of
delicious salads. After a short break the eagerly awaiting puddings were
served with a fantastic choice of homemade desserts.
The indoor
bar did a brisk trade keeping everyone's thirst quenched with wine, soft
drinks and Greene King Beer. Thanks to Ross Wenbourne for organising the
bar for us.

Tombola with everyone wanting to win some of the lovely prizes that had
kindly been donated. |

A big thank you to everyone for their support
for this event - those that made salads or desserts, donated Tombola
prizes, loaned tents, chairs, fencing or bales, helped with cooking or
serving on the bar and to all those who helped with setting up and
clearing away. Without your help the event would not take place.

was enjoyed by all and after our meal had settled the grass was turned
into a dance floor.
