Hargrave Coronavirus Support
  Back

During this unprecedented period of health concerns, many of us may find ourselves needing help from our neighbours. Self-isolation, poor health, anxiety and uncertainty over how to deal with the general situation are amongst the issues that we may find ourselves coping with in the coming weeks. If you do find yourself stuck at home, and need anything, let us help out.

• Picking up shopping
• Taking the dog for a walk

• Collecting medication
• Help to set up social media

• Posting mail
• A friendly phone call

Indeed, as this predicament progresses, so people’s circumstances will change. If your requirements change, please do make contact, as there might be some assistance that we can offer each other.

The list of volunteers delivered to you can be contacted if you need help with anything. They will organise the support you need.

***THIS VOLUNTEER GROUP WILL ONLY ASK FOR MONEY IF YOU ARE SUPPLIED WITH ITEMS YOU HAVE REQUESTED AND WE CAN SHOW YOU A RECEIPT. DON’T SHARE BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS, PERSONAL INFORMATION OR PASSWORDS***

It is important that we all keep up to date with national and local guidance and so these web sites are particularly helpful:

NHS: www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19

NHS 111: 111.nhs.uk/service/covid-19

Stay at home: guidance for households with possible coronavirus (COVID-19) infection:

www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/stay-at-home-guidance-for-households-with-possible-coronavirus-covid-19-infection

COVID-19: guidance on social distancing and for vulnerable people:

www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-on-social-distancing-and-for-vulnerable-people

In addition, within the village we will be keeping the Hargrave village website as up to date as possible: www.hargrave-suffolk.co.uk  as well as using the Hargrave Facebook page and Hargrave Twitter accounts as a valuable way to keep in touch.
